LPT: Don’t expect everyone to like you, and don’t expect to like everyone else.

This is something my eighth grade orchestra teacher told me that has stuck with me. Especially as someone who grew up in a very loving and validating environment, I definitely have expected everyone to like me in the past. It feels good now to be able to laugh off any bad interactions. I think what this really comes down to is confidence. If you are confident in yourself, you will be able to get over little interactions much more easily. Cheers everyone!
