First time caller, long time server

First time caller, long time server

Hey, so I’m in PA, tge LCB controls all liquor, we can’t do take out cocktails anymore like we could during the lockdown. Friday night this lady picks up her take out from our fine dinning restaurant. We are slammed, she tells the other bartender she has take out cocktails, to which I replay we can no longer do those. To which she replies, but I called! She was very angry and insisted she called about them. So I directed her to my manager. There was indeed a call, by her husband, and no one asked for drinks. Stop wasting my time and acting like I don’t know shit. 🙄🙄🙄 Thanks for taking my call submitted by /u/BellwitCurlz [link] [comments]
Starbucks is beloved by many

Starbucks is beloved by many

Entertainment, LifeStyle
This happened yesterday and and as it was happening I thought I should start a subreddit about this..... I recently discovered a Starbucks location I enjoy. Its off a highway and very scenic. Recently this location has modified it's operating hours such that after 3pm service is only available at the drive-through window. Having discovered this and seeing a lull in the lineup I got in my car got my order and returned to sit on the patio. It was a lovely afternoon with breaking sun after a few days of rain. As I sat there people continued to arrive and proceed to the door and find that it was locked at which point I would explain or they would read the sign. At some point I wasn't paying attention and a small queue began to form. I was interrupted from my reverie when an employee ...
4 Nuns die in a car accident

4 Nuns die in a car accident

At the pearly gates, St Peter says to them "Welcome sisters. You will be admitted shortly. First, I need to ask you a question: have you ever touched a penis?" The first nun, Sister Anne, replies "well, there was 1 time when I touched a penis with the tip of my pinky finger." St Peter told the nun that she needed to dip her finger into the holy water and then she may enter heaven. Then 2nd nun, Sister Jane, said "Well, there was 1 time when I briefly held a penis." St Peter told the nun that she needed to wash her hands in the holy water and then she may enter heaven. It was then that St Peter noticed the last nun in line pushing to get to the front of the line. He asks the nun "why are you trying to skip the queue? There's plenty of time." The ...
I don’t like when women aren’t feminine.

I don’t like when women aren’t feminine.

LifeStyle
I want to begin by saying that I am not a “boomer”, I’m 22. I’m also a male, so maybe I am possibly being misogynistic. If I am, let me know. However, as you can guess by this post, I have only ever dated feminine women. So, I would encourage the perspective of those women who maybe aren’t so feminine to reply to this post. I can’t help but completely get turned off whenever women do something that isn’t a feminine or polite mannerism. Some of these things include: being overly loud, masculine posture/stance, belching/passing gas in front of others, eating without matters/with mouth open, letting themselves get overweight, not keeping up with hygiene, having a poor fashion sense, and being rude. As I typed this, I realize it may seem like I’m putting an unrealistic standard on women. Howe...

Over the last 7-8 years, smart phones have gone from a simple 4/5 inch device, which you could call, text and browse the Internet on, to 6/7 inch devices which have a ridiculous amount of unneeded crap. A phone doesn't need to have a 100 megapixel camera, with 4 lenses for me to take a decent photo. I don't want my phone to be surrounded in a glass cover, so I can use contactless payments, this just makes it easier to smash. I don't need the screen to be 6 or 7 inches to be able to see it, my hands can't reasonably hold something of that size (insert penis joke here). All I want is a handheld size phone, with reasonable processing power, and a fair amount of built in storage. submitted by /u/DramaticEmu [link] [comments]
Can you use a mediator to help purchase a business?

Can you use a mediator to help purchase a business?

Business
Hey everyone! Like the title says, I wanted to know if a business mediator would be someone to reach out to to help purchase/negotiate the purchase of a business. a little back story, the business is not for sale currently on the market. However, I know the owner and the state of which it is in (not great) and want to purchase it. My girlfriend was an employee previously before she left (on good terms) and she would be a co-owner. I wanted to know if a mediator would be the correct person to reach out to to have them reach out to the owner on our behalf to see if he would be interested in entertaining an offer to purchase the business. I want to do this to avoid any bias (as we are younger, and again she was a past employee) and keep anonymity. If so, what would be best to have to go in...
